Earlier this month we were asked to speak at a district meeting for local agricultural fairs.
10 Fundamentals of Marketing Your Fair.
It was an interesting day that included speakers, food, quilt displays and round table sessions among the fairs in attendance.
Only having one half hour to speak there wasn’t a lot of time for an indepth perspective on marketing fairs. We listed the 10 fundamentals with a brief description of each and opened the floor to questions. The questions received were quite interesting and showed the depth of the understanding of changing times.
While this blog is read by many, I have included a link to the document 10 fundamentals of marketing your fair. While it is geared specifically for agricultural fairs, the information can be used for a wide variety of events.
