Our Marketing Strategists

Debi Katsmar is the founder and certified marketing strategist of PRowl Communications. She is also a certified email marketing specialist, and certified Zoho CRM administrator. She started in the marketing industry in 1984 working as a typesetter/graphic artist moving up in the marketing agency quickly to production manager. She went on to work for a prominent Canadian service-based business as the marketing manager, ultimately starting her own agency in 1989. 

Mackenzie Katsmar is an award-winning photographer and marketing strategist, joining PRowl Communications in 2019. In 2023, he opened Telltale Studios by PRowl, our photography studio and small venue rental aspect of the business. He brings a millennial and Gen Z approach to our marketing solutions. 

Steve Simkus joined the team in 2023 in the role of business development and marketing strategist offering consulting and fractional CMO services. His depth of knowledge through 40 years of executive level sales and marketing roles and successes adds to the services offered by PRowl Communications.

  • I have worked with Debi Katsmar for two years to add functionality and programs to my Zoho software. Now, I took that collaboration one step further. Debi has created BAAB, Business Accelerator Advisory Board, which I immediately joined. The mastermind group is designed to help business owners like me to challenge our assumptions about business, work to maximize opportunities and overcome challenges. We explore different aspects of our business each month such as Contingency Planning, Email Marketing and Key Performance Indicators (KPI). We have already identified various areas for changes. The result is that I see my business more clearly and have a better defined set of metrics to advance my company to the next level.
