Facebook is making it easier for people to buy and sell within groups.
In February, Facebook started rolling out the addition of a new 'sell' feature for groups allowing the posting of products for sale. We say rolling out, as one of our groups just received the notification to add it to the page this week - now being May!
Within the group page, click 'Sell' instead of 'start a discussion'. The page will prompt you for:
- What you are selling (name)
- The price
- Location (optional)
- Description
- Photo(s)
Once live, you can go back and mark the product sold, or review a catalogue of your posts.
Interesting feature for groups - heaven knows there are probably hundreds of buy and sell groups in Niagara.
